Light: Birds of Paradise plants love bright, indirect sunlight. They can tolerate direct light but too much can scorch their leaves. A spot near a sunny window is ideal.

Watering: Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil are dry. These plants like to stay moist but not soggy. In the growing season (spring and summer), water more frequently. In the fall and winter, reduce watering slightly.
